Terms of Use
Effective date: Upon publication on inpersonjob.com Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of inpersonjob.com and the InPersonJob services covered by these Terms. The platform is operated by InPersonJob, registered in Egypt, with its business address in Cairo, Egypt (“InPersonJob,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. If you act on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for personal information processing or optional features. Additional terms may apply to specific services if they are clearly presented to you before use or purchase.
InPersonJob connects job seekers, employers, and recruitment professionals. Its features may include professional profiles, CV uploads and profile completion, video introductions and applications, job listings, recommendations, application management, networking, and direct messaging.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate written agreement, InPersonJob provides the platform and is not the employer of candidates, a party to an employment contract, or the decision-maker in a user’s recruitment process.
We do not guarantee a job offer, interview, candidate suitability, successful hire, salary, or any other recruitment outcome. Recommendations and listings do not constitute an endorsement or a guarantee of accuracy, authenticity, availability, or legal compliance. Users should carry out appropriate checks before relying on a listing, accepting an offer, or entering into an agreement.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your authority, or allow unauthorized use of your account. Inform us promptly if you suspect a security breach or unauthorized access.
We may request reasonable information to verify an account, a company, or a user’s authority. Any verification indicator only reflects the specific checks described by the platform; it is not a guarantee of a user’s reliability or of any recruitment outcome.
Job seekers must provide truthful and reasonably current information about their experience, education, qualifications, skills, and work eligibility. Do not submit false credentials or misleading application materials.
You are responsible for reviewing your profile, including information extracted from an uploaded CV, and correcting inaccurate information. Review the intended audience before posting a profile, uploading a video, sending a message, or submitting an application.
Do not include another person’s image, voice, personal information, or work in your content without the necessary permission or another lawful basis. Avoid including confidential information from current or former employers.
You are responsible for evaluating employers and offers. A listing or message appearing on InPersonJob does not make it legitimate. Never share passwords, one-time verification codes, or financial credentials with another user. Report suspected scams through our Help Center.
Employers and recruiters must have authority to represent the business they identify and to advertise the opportunities they post. Job listings must describe genuine opportunities and provide accurate, current information about the role, location, working arrangements, qualifications, and any stated compensation.
Employers are responsible for their recruitment decisions, employment agreements, required disclosures, and compliance with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, immigration, and data protection laws. Hiring criteria must be lawful and relevant to the role. Video applications must not be used to make unlawful discriminatory decisions based on appearance, accent, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Candidate information obtained through InPersonJob may be used only for legitimate recruitment purposes and any other purpose lawfully agreed with the candidate. Employers must limit access to authorized people, protect the information appropriately, provide any required privacy notice, and meet applicable retention and deletion obligations.
Employers must not sell candidate information, use it for unrelated advertising, publish candidate videos outside the intended recruitment audience, or use candidate materials to train AI models without an appropriate legal basis and any necessary permissions. Access to a profile or application is not permission for unrestricted reuse.
Fraudulent listings, unlawful roles, deceptive recruitment schemes, and demands that applicants pay for a promised job or interview are prohibited. Employers must not request passwords, verification codes, or financial credentials from candidates.
You must not:
•Post unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise abusive content.
•Infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
•Use fake identities, stolen materials, manipulated recordings, or synthetic content to misrepresent a person’s identity, experience, or qualifications.
•Send spam, engage in harassment, or use recruitment communications for deceptive or unrelated solicitation.
•Scrape, harvest, sell, or collect personal information or content through unauthorized automated tools or bulk extraction.
•Upload malware, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass security or access controls.
•Manipulate applications, recommendations, engagement metrics, or other platform features through deceptive activity.
•Use the platform for unlawful discrimination, exploitation, trafficking, or any other illegal activity.
Authorized integrations and accessibility tools must be used within their permitted scope and must not compromise security or other users’ rights.
You retain ownership of the content you upload, including your CV, videos, photographs, job listings, and messages, subject to the rights of others. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload that content and allow the uses described in these Terms.
To operate the service, you grant InPersonJob a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, format, technically adapt, transmit, and display your content only as needed to provide the platform, deliver the features you use, maintain security, and comply with law. Technical adaptations may include video transcoding or resizing; this license does not transfer ownership of your content.
We may allow our service providers to exercise this license only to perform those functions on our behalf. Display and sharing must reflect the relevant feature and audience settings described in the Privacy Policy. This license does not authorize unrelated advertising use, the sale of your personal content, or training general-purpose AI models on your content.
The license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except for copies reasonably retained for legal obligations, security, dispute handling, or normal backup cycles as explained in the Privacy Policy. Deletion from the platform does not automatically delete copies already lawfully received by employers or other users.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. We may request further information when reviewing a complaint. We do not promise to review every listing, profile, message, or video before it appears.
The InPersonJob name, branding, software, designs, and platform materials, excluding user-owned or third-party content, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the platform for its intended purposes under these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or reverse engineer platform materials except where we authorize it or applicable law permits it. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the platform to you.
If we offer paid features, subscriptions, or other commercial services, the applicable price, currency, taxes, service scope, billing period, and any renewal arrangements will be disclosed before you purchase.
Any trial conditions, cancellation procedure, and refund rules will also be presented before purchase. Automatic renewal, if offered, must be clearly disclosed and agreed to in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights.
For organizational customers, a separate written commercial agreement may govern purchased services. If it conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls only for the services and issues it expressly addresses, subject to applicable law.
We may update, change, or discontinue features, and access may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Material changes affecting a paid commitment will be handled according to the applicable commercial terms and law.
The platform may link to external websites or support third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for their content or practices merely because they are linked or integrated, without limiting any responsibilities that applicable law places on us.
You may stop using the platform at any time. To request account closure, use the available account controls or contact us through the Help Center.
We may restrict content or suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, create a security risk, or if action is required by law. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for serious abuse, safety risks, fraud, or legal requirements.
You may contact the Help Center to request review of an account restriction. Closure does not remove obligations that arose before closure. Data retention and deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy, applicable law, and any relevant commercial agreement. Provisions that reasonably need to continue, such as intellectual property, liability, and dispute provisions, survive termination to that extent.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis, without warranties beyond those expressly given in these Terms or a separate agreement. Users remain responsible for the content they submit and for their recruitment and employment arrangements.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost recruitment opportunities arising from use of the platform. We are not responsible for another user’s acts or omissions solely because they use InPersonJob; this does not exclude responsibility imposed on us by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any mandatory statutory rights. Any limitation applies only to the extent legally enforceable in the circumstances.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without depriving you of mandatory protections available under the law that applies to you.
If a dispute arises, you may contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it. This does not restrict your right to seek urgent relief, make a regulatory complaint, or exercise other statutory rights.
Subject to mandatory rules on jurisdiction and any separate applicable agreement, disputes will be heard by the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt. No mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is created by these Terms.
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted with their effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and obtain renewed acceptance where required by law. Changes do not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before their effective date unless legally permitted and validly agreed.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later. These Terms and any expressly applicable additional agreement govern your use of the relevant service.
The Arabic and English versions are intended to express the same terms. If you notice a discrepancy, please contact us for clarification. Any mandatory local-language requirements remain applicable.
